Generalized periodic rings

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1996
Let R be a ring, and let N and C denote the set of nilpotents and the center of R, respectively. R is called generalized periodic if for every x∈R\(N⋃C), there exist distinct positive integers m, n of opposite parity such that xn−xm∈N⋂C.

Generalized projections in Zn

open access: yesAKCE International Journal of Graphs and Combinatorics, 2019
We consider the ring Zn(integers modulo n) with the partial order ‘≤’ given by ‘a≤b if either a=b or a≡ab(modn)’. In this paper, we obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for the poset (Zn,≤) to be a lattice.

Signal constellations based on Eisenstein integers for generalized spatial modulation

open access: yes, 2016
This letter introduces signal constellations based on multiplicative groups of Eisenstein integers, i.e., hexagonal lattices. These sets of Eisenstein integers are proposed as signal constellations for generalized spatial modulation.

A Lightweight Procedural Layer for Hybrid Experimental–Computational Workflows in Materials Science

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
We unveil a prototype hybrid‐workflow framework that fuses automatedcomputation with hands‐on experiments. Built atop pyiron, a lightweight, parameterized layer translates procedure descriptions into executable manual steps, syncing instrument settings, human interventions, and data capture in real‐time today.

Beurling integers with lacunarity [PDF]

open access: yes, 2023
We present examples of multiplicative semigroups of positive reals (Beurling's generalized integers) with gaps bounded from below.Comment: 10 pages.

Some Abelian, Tauberian and Core Theorems Related to the $(V,\lambda)$-Summability

open access: yesUniversal Journal of Mathematics and Applications, 2021
For a non-decreasing sequence of positive integers tending to infinity $\lambda=(\lambda_m)$ such that $\lambda_{m+1}-\lambda_m\leq 1$, $\lambda_1=1$; $(V,\lambda)$-summability has been defined as the limit of the generalized de la Val\'{e}e-Pousin of a

Historical Foundation and Practical Guideline for Ferroelectric Switching Kinetic Studies

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The P and U pulses in the conventional PUND measurements are not identical because of the interplay between switching current and the measurement circuit components. This circuit effect can lead to a shift in polarization transients and misinterpreted physics in the switching kinetics.

Integer grids as integer sequences generators

open access: yesMathematical Communications
We investigate equidistant integer grids and semigrids as generators of integer sequences. Equidistant integer grids consist of arithmetic sequences arranged in rows and columns. Among other things, the partial sums of their diagonal elements result in polygonal and second polygonal numbers.

On Discrete Shifts of Some Beurling Zeta Functions

open access: yesMathematics
We consider the Beurling zeta function ζP(s), s=σ+it, of the system of generalized prime numbers P with generalized integers m satisfying the condition ∑m⩽x1=ax+O(xδ), a>0, 0⩽δσP with some σP0, there exists a closed non-empty set of analytic functions ...
