𝑞-Analogues of the Bernoulli and Genocchi Polynomials and the Srivastava-PintĂ©r Addition Theorems

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, 2012
The main purpose of this paper is to introduce and investigate a new class of generalized Bernoulli and Genocchi polynomials based on the 𝑞-integers. The 𝑞-analogues of well-known formulas are derived.

Antimagicness for a family of generalized antiprism graphs

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Graph Theory and Applications, 2014
An antimagic labeling of a graph $G=(V,E)$ is a bijection from the set of edges $E$ to the set of integers $\{1,2,\dots, |E|\}$ such that all vertex weights are pairwise distinct, where the weight of a vertex is the sum of all edge labels incident with ...

Batched ranged random integer generation

open access: yesSoftware: Practice and Experience
SummaryPseudorandom values are often generated as 64‐bit binary words. These random words need to be converted into ranged values without statistical bias. We present an efficient algorithm to generate multiple independent uniformly‐random bounded integers from a single uniformly‐random binary word, without any bias. In the common case, our method uses

Generalized Linear Integer Numeric Planning

open access: yesProceedings of the International Conference on Automated Planning and Scheduling, 2022
Classical planning aims to find a sequence of actions that guarantees goal achievement from an initial state. The representative framework of classical planning is based on propositional logic. Due to the weak expressiveness of propositional logic, many applications of interest cannot be formalized as a classical planning problem.

Accelerated Discovery of Topological Spin Phase Diagrams in CrSBr Magnets Via High‐Throughput Optimization

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Here, we develop a high‐throughput algorithm that accelerates the elucidation of phase diagrams of topological spin textures using limited computational resources at high numerical accuracy. Applying this framework to the van der Waals magnet CrSBr, we unveiled a hierarchy of previously unknown topological textures (domain‐wall bimerons, bimeron chains,

On Value Distribution of Certain Beurling Zeta-Functions

open access: yesMathematics
In this paper, the approximation of analytic functions by shifts ζP(s+iτ) of Beurling zeta-functions ζP(s) of certain systems P of generalized prime numbers is discussed. It is required that the system of generalized integers NP generated by P satisfies ∑

Stabilization of Strongly Reduced Fe(I) Single Atom Species Coordinated in a 2D Self‐Assembled Metal–Organic Network

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A graphene‐supported 2D metal–organic network stabilizes highly reactive Fe(I)‐N4 single sites through Co‐induced charge redistribution. Combined experiments and theory reveal Fe(I) formation, oxygen‐driven oxidation, and O2 activation mechanisms, offering a strategy to access low‐valent iron centers relevant to catalytic and biological processes ...

Column-Generation in Integer Linear Programming [PDF]

open access: yesRAIRO - Operations Research, 2003
This article presents an exact method for solving integer and binary linear programming problems based on the branch-and-price technique. The article begins with an overview of branch-and-price column generation techniques as applied to integer linear programs (LP), which is then followed by an overview of applications, e.g., the vehicle routing ...

Tailoring Symmetry Breaking in Engineered van der Waals Superlattices

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We pioneer a scheme to tailor superpotentials in graphene based on intrinsic substrate electronic orders rather than twist angle. The resulting superpotential folds graphene's Dirac cones to either Γ$\Gamma$ or K‐points, leading to distinct symmetry behaviors.
