Geometric characterization of generalized Hajłasz-Sobolev embedding domains
In this article, the authors study the embedding properties of Hajłasz-Sobolev spaces with generalized smoothness on Euclidean domains, whose regularity is described via a smoothness weight function ϕ:[0,∞)→[0,∞)\phi :\left[0,\infty )\to \left[0,\infty ).

Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.

On Modulus of Smoothness of Functions Given on Compact Groups [PDF]
The connection between structural and constructive characterization of a function is one of the most important problems of approximation theory and this relations is given by Jackson type theorems.

The Modulus of Nearly Uniform Smoothness in Orlicz Sequence Spaces
It is well known that the modulus of nearly uniform smoothness related with the fixed point property is important in Banach spaces. In this paper, we prove that the modulus of nearly uniform smoothness in Köthe sequence spaces without absolutely ...

A dynamically actuated reconfigurable topographical surface (DARTS) integrates contact‐mediated bactericidal nanotopography with programmable mechanical actuation to actively disrupt bacterial biofilms. Dynamic surface reconfiguration enhances bacterial killing and suppresses implant‐associated infections in vivo, providing a new strategy for active ...

A new kind of Bernstein-Schurer-Stancu-Kantorovich-type operators based on q-integers
Agrawal et al. (Boll. Unione Mat. Ital. 8:169-180, 2015) introduced a Stancu-type Kantorovich modification of the operators proposed by Ren and Zeng (Bull. Korean Math. Soc.

Load Distributing Metamaterials Via Discrete Optimization
Mechanical metamaterials are computationally optimized to homogenize transmitted forces by minimizing the spread of reaction forces. The resulting architectures transform localized loading into broader, more uniform force distributions and experimentally demonstrate robust load spreading under quasi‐static and impact loading.

Widths of Besov classes of generalized smoothness on the sphere [PDF]
We introduce the Besov spaces BpθΩ(Sd−1) of generalized smoothness on the sphere Sd−1, and obtain the representation theorem, an embedding theorem, and the characterization using a frame.
