A Modern Approach for the Identification of the Classical and Modified Generalized Morse Potential

Nanoscience & Nanotechnology-Asia, 2020
Introduction:This paper proposes an approach for parameter estimation of the Classical and Generalized Morse Potential functions. A new potential which is a modification of the Generalized Morse Potential was proposed as parameter estimates yielded complex conjugate roots using gold atom for simulation. Methods:Existing methods of parameter estimation ...

Approximate Analytical Solutions of the Klein–Gordon Equation with Generalized Morse Potential

International Journal of Thermophysics, 2020
In this study, the Klein–Gordon equation for the newly proposed generalized Morse potential (GMP) was solved using the newly proposed Nikiforov–Uvarov-functional analysis (NUFA) method for solving central potentials. The analytical expressions of Eigen solutions for GMP were obtained in closed form.

Generalized morse analytic function for the “true” diatomic potential of the RKR type

Journal of Computational Chemistry, 1993
AbstractThe problem of the representation of the RKR (or IPA) diatomic potential by a simple analytic function is considered. This old problem has for a fairly good solution the Coxon‐Hajigeorgiou function U(x) = D[1 ‐ exp‐fn(x)]2 with fn(x) = Σ amxm.

Analytical and numerical solutions of the time fractional Schrödinger equation for generalized Morse potential

Modern Physics Letters A, 2023
This paper investigates the fractional Schrödinger equation (FSE) with the Caputo time fractional derivative for the generalized Morse potential, which has not yet been presented for this equation. This study depends on the analytical solution of the FSE by the method of integral transforms and the numerical solutions are presented by plotting the ...

Exact analytic solutions generated from stipulated Morse and trigonometric Scarf potentials

Physica Scripta, 2011
Summary: The extended transformation method has been applied to the exactly solvable stipulated Morse potential and trigonometric scarf potential, to generate a set of exactly solvable quantum systems (QSs) in any chosen dimension. Bound state solutions of the exactly solvable potentials are given. The generated QSs are generally of Sturmian form.

Generalized Pöschl–Teller, Toda, Morse potentials and SL(2,R) group

Journal of Mathematical Physics, 1998
Quantum integrable systems related with SL(2,R) group manifold in various coordinate systems defined by the various decompositions: KHK, HAH, HKH, NHN, NHK of the group SL(2,R) on one parameter subgroups K,H,A,N are considered. The explicit expressions for waves functions, spectra, and S-matrices are given.

Generation of new classes of exactly solvable potential from the trigonometric Rosen-Morse potential

Indian Journal of Physics, 2010
Exact analytic solutions of the Schrodinger equation are obtained for classes of newly constructed potentials which are generated from the trigonometric Rosen-Morse potential as the input reference potential via extended transformation method. A set of quantized energy spectra of the bound states and the corresponding wave functions of the generated ...

Generalized coherent states related to the associated Bessel functions and Morse potential

Physica Scripta, 2014
Using the associated Bessel functions, a shape-invariant Lie algebra spanned by ladder operators plus the identity operator, is realized. The Hilbert space of the associated Bessel functions, representing the Lie algebra, are established and two kinds of generalized coherent states as an appropriate superposition of these functions are constructed.

Application of extended-Rydberg parameters in general Morse potential functions

Journal of Mathematical Chemistry, 2011
The 3-parameter Rydberg and the 4-parameter general Morse functions have been adopted for describing bond-stretching in computation of molecular systems and many-body solid state systems. However the Extended-Rydberg function, such as the 5-parameter Murrell-Sorbie potential, has so far been confined to describing bond-stretching in very small ...
