A compound of the generalized negative binomial distribution with the generalized beta distribution
Abstract This paper presents a compound of the generalized negative binomial distribution with the generalized beta distribution. In the introductory part of the paper, we provide a chronological overview of recent developments in the compounding of distributions, including the Polish results.

On hypergeometric generalized negative binomial distribution [PDF]
It is shown that the hypergeometric generalized negative binomial distribution has moments of all positive orders, is overdispersed, skewed to the right, and leptokurtic.

On the Accuracy of the Generalized Gamma Approximation to Generalized Negative Binomial Random Sums
We investigate the proximity in terms of zeta-structured metrics of generalized negative binomial random sums to generalized gamma distribution with the corresponding parameters, extending thus the zeta-structured estimates of the rate of convergence in ...

On bivariate generalized binomial and negative binomial distributions
The present paper deals with two types of generalized general binomial (binomial or negative binomial) distributions: (i) a univariate general binomial generalized by a bivariate distribution and (ii) a bivariate general binomial generalized by two independent univariate distributions.

A generalization of the negative binomial distribution
Background & Aim: Consider a sequence of independent Bernoulli trials with p denoting the probability of success at each trial. With this definition, the probability that the nth success proceed by r failures follows the negative binomial distribution ...

AbstractIn this paper the distribution of Z = Σni=1Xi and the joint distribution of Y = min{X1,…,Xn} and Z are obtained in the cases in which X1,…,Xn is a random sample (i) from the left‐truncated generalized logarithmic series distribution in terms of the Stirling numbers of the first kind, (ii) from the left‐truncated generalized Poisson distribution

The Poisson regression model is widely used for count data. This model assumes equidispersion. In practice, equidispersion is seldom reflected in data. However, in real-life data, the variance usually exceeds the mean.

A New Neutrosophic Negative Binomial Distribution: Properties and Applications
Many problems in real life exist that are full of confusion, vagueness, and ambiguity. The quantification of such issues in a scientific way is the need of time.
