GLIGEN: Open-Set Grounded Text-to-Image Generation

open access: yes2023 IEEE/CVF Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR), 2023
Large-scale text-to-image diffusion models have made amazing advances. However, the status quo is to use text input alone, which can impede controllability. In this work, we propose GLIGEN, Grounded-Language-to-Image Generation, a novel approach that builds upon and extends the functionality of existing pre-trained text-to-image diffusion models by ...

On semi-Hs-open sets in hereditary generalized topological spaces

open access: yes, 2014
In this paper, we define a new class of set called semi-Hs-open sets and semi-Hs-continuous in hereditary generalized topological spaces. Also, we obtain new two decompositions of semi-Hs-continuous in hereditary generalized topological spaces and ...

Association Between Individualized Education for Kidney Replacement Therapy Modality Selection and Peritoneal Dialysis Initiation: A Cross‐Sectional Study

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Peritoneal dialysis (PD) is an established home‐based kidney replacement therapy (KRT), but its uptake remains low in Japan. We evaluated whether individualized education in a dedicated outpatient clinic was associated with the initiation of PD.

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Open Set Recognition with Conditional Probabilistic Generative Models

open access: yesCoRR, 2020
Deep neural networks have made breakthroughs in a wide range of visual understanding tasks. A typical challenge that hinders their real-world applications is that unknown samples may be fed into the system during the testing phase, but traditional deep neural networks will wrongly recognize these unknown samples as one of the known classes.

Minimal open sets on generalized topological space [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
We introduce the notion of minimal open sets in a generalized topological space (X μ). We investigate some of their fundamental properties and proved that any subset of a minimal open set on a GTS (X μ) is a μ-preopen setCarpintero, Carlos R-bf242d48 ...

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

On fuzzy γµ-open sets in generalized fuzzy topological spaces

open access: yes, 2022
In this paper, we explore the existence of operation approach on open sets in a generalized fuzzy topological space. We introduce the concept of fuzzy γµ-open set and study some basic properties of it.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

On Generalized Continuous Fuzzy Proper Function from a Fuzzy Topological Space to another Fuzzy Topological Space

open access: yesمجلة بغداد للعلوم, 2019
The purpose of this paper is to introduce and study the concepts of fuzzy generalized open sets, fuzzy generalized closed sets, generalized continuous fuzzy proper functions and prove results about these concepts.
