Computing the 2-Adic Complexity of Two Classes Generalized Cyclotomic Sequences

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
This paper contributes to analyze the 2-adic complexity of a class of Ding-Helleseth generalized cyclotomic sequences and a class of Whiteman generalized cyclotomic sequences of periods of $N=pq$ , where $p$ and $q$ are two odd distinct primes with

Generator and Prime Mover Capacities [PDF]

open access: yesTransactions of the American Institute of Electrical Engineers, 1913
Electric generators are of necessity driven by prime movers and the combination must be treated as a single unit when considering the questions of ratings and capacities. The importance of the proper adaptation of the capacities is fully emphasized by the fact that there are in operation in many stations in this country, units in which the output is ...

Genefer: Programs for Finding Large Probable Generalized Fermat Primes

open access: yesJournal of Open Research Software, 2015
Genefer is a suite of programs for performing Probable Primality (PRP) tests of Generalised Fermat numbers 'b'2'n'+1 (GFNs) using a Fermat test. Optimised implementations are available for modern CPUs using single instruction, multiple data (SIMD ...

About twin primes and distribution of primes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
This paper give us a demonstration of twin primes conjecture using approximation of function (iupsilon) that we introduce in section 6. Section 1-5 give us introduction to terminology and a clarification on (iupsilon) terms.

On almost finitely generated nilpotent groups

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1996
A nilpotent group G is fgp if Gp, is finitely generated (fg) as a p-local group for all primes p; it is fg-like if there exists a nilpotent fg group H such that Gp≃Hp for all primes p.

The 2-Adic Complexity of Ding-Helleseth Generalized Cyclotomic Sequences of Order 2 and Period pq

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
This paper considers the 2-adic complexity of Ding-Helleseth generalized cyclotomic sequences of order 2 and period $pq$ , where $p$ and $q$ are distinct odd primes with $\mathrm {gcd}(p-1,q-1)=2,p\equiv q\equiv 3\pmod 4$ .

Generalized Newman Phenomena and Digit Conjectures on Primes

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2008
We prove that the ratio of the Newman sum over numbers multiple of a fixed integer, which is not a multiple of 3, and the Newman sum over numbers multiple of a fixed integer divisible by 3 is o(1) when the upper limit of summing tends to infinity.

On Generalized 2-primes Numbers

open access: yes, 2020
In this paper, we introduce the generalized 2-primes sequences and we deal with, in detail, three special cases which we call them 2-primes, Lucas 2-primes and modified 2-primes sequences.

Notes about the linear complexity of Ding-Helleseth generalized cyclotomic sequences of length pq over the finite field of order p or q

open access: yesITM Web of Conferences, 2017
We investigate three classes of Ding-Helleseth-generalized cyclotomic sequences of length pq. We derive the linear complexity and the minimal polynomial of above-mentioned sequences over the finite fields of orders p and q, where p and q are two odd ...
