We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Background The Nurturing Care Framework (NCF) is a comprehensive approach that enhances early childhood development (ECD). Due to the paucity of personnel skilled in nurturing care for ECD (NC-ECD), Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) developed IAP ...

We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

JEqualityGen: Generating Equality and Hashing Methods
Manually implementing equals (for object comparisons) and hashCode (for object hashing) methods in large software projects is tedious and error-prone.

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Neighborhood Complexes and Generating Functions for Affine Semigroups [PDF]
Given a_{1}; a_{2},...a_{n} in Z^{d}, we examine the set, G, of all nonnegative integer combinations of these ai. In particular, we examine the generating function f(z) = Sum_{b in G}z^{b}.

Mathematical modeling for Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) transmission using generating function approach [PDF]
This study is concerned with the mathematical modeling for human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) transmission epidemics. The mathematical models are specified by stochastic differential equations that are solved by use of Generating Functions (GF ...

Generating Transition States of Isomerization Reactions with Deep Learning
Lack of quality data and difficulty generating these data hinder quantitative understanding of reaction kinetics. Specifically, conventional methods to generate transition state structures are deficient in speed, accuracy, or scope.

Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...
