VOLTAGE CONTROL OF WIND SYSTEM USING ADAPTIVE FUZZY SLIDING METHOD WITH IOT MONITORING
: The idea of employing an Adaptive Fuzzy Sliding (AFS)-operated matrix converter in a grid-connected Wind Energy Conversion System (WECS) for controlling voltage and frequency, with additional support for grid monitoring provided by an Internet of ...

Semiparametric Inference and Lower Bounds for Real Elliptically Symmetric Distributions
This paper has a twofold goal. The first aim is to provide a deeper understanding of the family of the Real Elliptically Symmetric (RES) distributions by investigating their intrinsic semiparametric nature.

Generalized Matrix Valued Invariants
Let \(X_{mn}\) be the space of \(m\)-tuples of \(n \times n\) matrices over \(\mathbb{C}\). The group \(\text{PSL}_ n (\mathbb{C})\) acts on \(X_{mn}\) by componentwise conjugation and this induces an action on the symmetric algebra \(S\) of \(X_{mn}\), i.e. on the polynomial algebra in \(mn^ 2\) variables.

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Codes over the Dickson Near-Field of Order Nine
A near-field is an algebraic structure akin to a division ring where distributivity is relaxed on one side. The smallest such object is the Dickson near-field of order nine. We lay the foundations of linear codes over that near-field.

The generalized q-Pilbert matrix
Abstract A generalized q-Pilbert matrix from[KILIÇ, E.-PRODINGER, H.: The q-Pilbert matrix, Int. J. Comput. Math. 89 (2012), 1370–1377] is further generalized, introducing one additional parameter. Explicit formulæ are derived for the LU-decomposition and their inverses, as well as the Cholesky decomposition.

Aggressive prostate cancer is associated with pericyte dysfunction
Tumor‐produced TGF‐β drives pericyte dysfunction in prostate cancer. This dysfunction is characterized by downregulation of some canonical pericyte markers (i.e., DES, CSPG4, and ACTA2) while maintaining the expression of others (i.e., PDGFRB, NOTCH3, and RGS5).

Development of therapies targeting cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) necessitates preclinical model systems that faithfully represent CAF–tumor biology. We established an in vitro coculture system of patient‐derived pancreatic CAFs and tumor cell lines and demonstrated its recapitulation of primary CAF–tumor biology with single‐cell transcriptomics ...
