The Generalized Inverse of a Nonnegative Matrix [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 1972

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

Load Capacity Analysis of Self-Excited Induction Generators Based on Routh Criterion

open access: yesEnergies, 2019
In this paper, the Routh criterion has been used to analyze the stability of a self-excited induction generator-based isolated system which is regarded as an autonomous system.

On the Probability of Generating a Primitive Matrix

open access: yesJournal of Systems Science and Complexity
Given a $k\times n$ integer primitive matrix $\bf{A}$ (i.e., a matrix can be extended to an $n\times n$ unimodular matrix over the integers) with the maximal absolute value of entries $\|\bf{A}\|$ bounded by {an integer} $λ$ from above, we study the probability that the $m\times n$ matrix extended from $\bf{A}$ by appending other $m-k$ row vectors of ...

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

VOLTAGE CONTROL OF WIND SYSTEM USING ADAPTIVE FUZZY SLIDING METHOD WITH IOT MONITORING

open access: yesInternational Journal of Advances in Signal and Image Sciences, 2023
: The idea of employing an Adaptive Fuzzy Sliding (AFS)-operated matrix converter in a grid-connected Wind Energy Conversion System (WECS) for controlling voltage and frequency, with additional support for grid monitoring provided by an Internet of ...

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Codes over the Dickson Near-Field of Order Nine

open access: yesMathematics
A near-field is an algebraic structure akin to a division ring where distributivity is relaxed on one side. The smallest such object is the Dickson near-field of order nine. We lay the foundations of linear codes over that near-field.
