Bicyclo [6.3.0] Undecane Sesquiterpenoids: Structures, Biological Activities, and Syntheses

open access: yesMolecules, 2019
Sesquiterpenoids constitute a marvelously varied group of natural products that feature a vast array of molecular architectures. Among them, the unusual bicyclo [6.3.0] undecane sesquiterpenoids are one of the most representative.

Generic drugs

open access: yes, 2020
Sometimes it seems as though generic drugs are one of those things that everybody likes as an idea, but they wouldn’t want to take one themselves. Ireland is at the bottom of the European market by value, and second from bottom by volume. Exports of generics make up a significant proportion of total finished product pharmaceutical exports.

LLM‐Integrated Human–Robot Interaction System for Microrobots

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This paper proposes an LLM‐based control framework for guiding microrobots using human natural language. This framework can convert the natural human speech into safe and executable command sets for reliable navigation in complex environments. The experimental results show high accuracy and robustness in task performance, demonstrating the potential of

Gut Microbiota Regulates Systemic Inflammatory Response and Compensatory Anti‐Inflammatory Response Syndromes by Targeting PF4+ Macrophages in Acute Pancreatitis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Acute pancreatitis (AP) begins with pancreatic local inflammation, leading to the onset of systemic inflammatory response syndrome (SIRS), followed by compensatory anti‐inflammatory response syndrome (CARS), which causes immune paralysis and higher mortality rate.

Mild photothermal therapy potentiates anti-PD-L1 treatment for immunologically cold tumors via an all-in-one and all-in-control strategy

open access: yesNature Communications, 2019
Mild photothermal therapy can be used to induce a favourable immunological response. In this study, the authors combine a photothermal therapy sensitizer and anti-PD-L1 into a lipid gel and find that, on controlled delivery to tumours, it potentiates ...

A Review on Generic and Branded Drugs-Competence of Generic Drugs in Comparison to Branded Drugs

open access: yesCurrent Research in Pharmaceutical Sciences, 2019
The use of generic or branded drug is a great matter of discussion in recent times globally. The government in different countries is also strictly promoting the use of generic drugs in place of branded ones. A generic drug consists of same active ingredient/ingredients as its branded counterpart and found to be equally efficient therapeutically.

Canagliflozin Alleviates Diabetic Glomerular Endothelial Injury via Melibiose in a Microbiota‐Dependent Manner

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Canagliflozin treatment reshapes the gut microbiota in DKD and elevates levels of melibiose, a metabolite derived from Roseburia intestinalis. Melibiose directly binds to and enhances the enzymatic activity of glyoxalase 1, leading to decreased methylglyoxal accumulation.

PRC2.1 Coordinates Peri‐Nucleolar H3K27me3‐Enriched Heterochromatin Organization and NPM1 Pentamerization to Maintain Nucleolar Integrity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
PRC2.1(PCL2)‐coordinated H3K27me3‐enriched PNH establishes a spatial scaffold crucial for nucleolar integrity. As a crucial coordinator, PCL2 links PRC2.1 to chromatin organization and NPM1 assembly. This network‐based model reveals how chromatin modifications and nucleolar components cooperatively maintain nucleolar architecture, revealing novel ...

Evaluation of model‐integrated evidence approaches for pharmacokinetic bioequivalence studies using model averaging methods

open access: yesCPT: Pharmacometrics & Systems Pharmacology
Conventional approaches for establishing bioequivalence (BE) between test and reference formulations using non‐compartmental analysis (NCA) may demonstrate low power in pharmacokinetic (PK) studies with sparse sampling.

Effect of Oregon grape root extracts on P-glycoprotein mediated transport in in vitro cell lines

open access: yesJournal of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences
Purpose: This study aims to investigate the potential of Oregon grape root extracts to modulate the activity of P-glycoprotein.Methods: We performed 3H-CsA or 3H-digoxin transport experiments in the absence or presence of two sources of Oregon grape root
