Gene-environment interaction between body mass index and transforming growth factor beta 1 (TGFβ1) gene in knee and hip osteoarthritis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Introduction: The objective was to investigate potential gene-environment interaction between body mass index (BMI) and each of eight TGFβ1 polymorphisms in knee and hip osteoarthritis (OA).

Genotype × Environment Interaction and Stability Estimate for Grain Yield of Upland Rice Genotypes in Nigeria

open access: yesRice Research: Open Access, 2015
Genotype × environmental interaction and stability estimate were investigated on grain yield of 30 upland rice varieties at Sabon Daga, Amakama, Yandev and Uyo in 2003. The experiments were laid out in a randomised complete block design with three replications.

G×E Interaction Analysis by Ammi Model for Fodder Yield of Dual Purpose Barley Genotypes

open access: yesInternational Journal of Bio-Resource and Stress Management, 2020
Numerous statistical methods have been proposed to estimate the yield behavior of genotypes to diverse environmental conditions. Large number of research studies has shown a significant effect of environmental as well as of G×E interaction yield of ...

Genotype-by-environment interaction and selection of elite wheat genotypes under variable rainfall conditions in northern Ethiopia

open access: yes, 2019
Productivity of bread wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) in Ethiopia can be improved by the identification of adaptable, high-yielding and rust-resistant genotypes through the evaluation of elite wheat genotypes for yield in multi-environment trials. Thus, our

Genotype-environment interaction in some rice mutants (Oryza sativa L.) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Stability performance and genotype-environment (G×E) interactions were investigated for yield and yield components of seven rice genotypes at eight cultural soil environments and were measured through linear regression and deviation from regression.

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.
