Camera calibration using geometric constraints
Proceedings CVPR '89: IEEE Computer Society Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition, 2003A method to estimate the intrinsic and extrinsic patterns of a camera model is presented. The intrinsic parameters of camera center and focal length are estimated with a calibration device which is adjusted iteratively with four independent motions.

Geometric calibration of a hyperspectral imaging system
Applied Optics, 2010Every imaging system requires a geometric calibration to yield accurate optical measurements. Geometric calibration typically involves imaging of a known calibration object and finding the parameters of a camera model and a model of optical aberrations.

Optimization of geometrical calibration in pinhole SPECT
IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging, 2005Previously, we developed a method to determine the acquisition geometry of a pinhole camera. This information is needed for the correct reconstruction of pinhole single photon emission computed tomography images. The method uses a calibration phantom consisting of three point sources and their positions in the field of view (FOV) influence the accuracy

Geometric camera calibration: theory and experiments
Proceedings of 1994 IEEE International Symposium on Industrial Electronics (ISIE'94), 2002It is known from geometric optics that any system of lenses can be approximated by a system which realizes a perspective projection of a 3D scene onto a 2D plate. Projective geometry is an efficient tool to investigate such an image forming system. This paper treats the problem of calibrating cameras using this tool.

Deltille Grids for Geometric Camera Calibration
2017 IEEE International Conference on Computer Vision (ICCV), 2017The recent proliferation of high resolution cameras presents an opportunity to achieve unprecedented levels of precision in visual 3D reconstruction. Yet the camera calibration pipeline, developed decades ago using checkerboards, has remained the de facto standard.

Geometric calibration of rotational kaleidoscopic instrument
SPIE Proceedings, 2016The measurement of spatially varying surface reflectance is required for faithful reproduction of real world to allow for predictive look of computer generated images. One such proposed method uses a rotational kaleidoscopic imaging, where illumination and imaging paths are realized by subimages on kaleidoscopic mirrors and illumination is carried out ...

Methods for geometrical video projector calibration
Machine Vision and Applications, 2011In this paper we present two methods to geometrically calibrate a video projector using a markerless planar surface. The first method assumes a partial knowledge on the camera parameters, whereas the second method consists in an auto-calibration method with no assumption on the parameters of the camera.

Geometrical DMO Calibration and Spatial Dealiasing
Proceedings, 1995Irregular acquisition geometry is inevitable due to obstacles and cable feathering in 3-D marine surveys and access limitations in 3-D land surveys. The irregularities will damage the fidelity of seismic images, unless they are properly handled in the processing. DMO in particular, must take account of the actual geometry. SIMBIO-SYS/STC stereo camera calibration: Geometrical distortion
Review of Scientific Instruments, 2019The STereo imaging Channel (STC) is the first push-frame stereo camera on board an European Space Agency (ESA) satellite, i.e., the ESA-Japan Aerospace eXploration Agency mission BepiColombo. It was launched in October 2018, and it will reach its target, Mercury, in 2025. The STC main aim is to provide the global three-dimensional reconstruction of the

Flexible geometrical calibration for fringe-reflection 3D measurement
Optics Letters, 2012System geometrical calibration is a challenging task in fringe-reflection 3D measurement because the fringe displayed on the LCD screen does not lie within the camera's field of view. Commonly, a flat mirror with markers can accomplish system geometrical calibration.
