A numerical–experimental framework is developed for characterizing multi‐matrix fiber‐reinforced polymers (MM‐FRPs) combining epoxy and polyurethane matrices. Harmonic bending tests are integrated with finite element model updating (FEMU) to simultaneously identify elastic and viscoelastic material parameters.

On-Orbit Geometric Calibration and Accuracy Validation of the Jilin1-KF01B Wide-Field Camera
On-orbit geometric calibration is key to improving the geometric positioning accuracy of high-resolution optical remote sensing satellite data. Grouped calibration with geometric consistency (GCGC) is proposed in this paper for the Jilin1-KF01B satellite,

Geometric Self-Calibration of YaoGan-13 Images Using Multiple Overlapping Images
Geometric calibration is an important means of improving the absolute positioning accuracy of space-borne synthetic aperture radar imagery. The conventional calibration method is based on a calibration field, which is simple and convenient, but requires ...

Efficient Rank Reduction of Correlation Matrices [PDF]
Geometric optimisation algorithms are developed that efficiently find the nearest low-rank correlation matrix. We show, in numerical tests, that our methods compare favourably to the existing methods in the literature.

Results from TerraSAR-X geometric and radiometric calibration [PDF]
As TerraSAR-X, due for launch in June 2007, will be an operational scientific mission with commercial potential, product quality is of crucial importance. The success or failure of the mission essentially depends on the calibration of the TerraSAR-X system ensuring the product quality and the correct in-orbit operation of the entire SAR system.
