Unlabeled equivalence for matroids representable over finite fields [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
We present a new type of equivalence for representable matroids that uses the automorphisms of the underlying matroid. Two $r\times n$ matrices $A$ and $A'$ representing the same matroid $M$ over a field $F$ are {\it geometrically equivalent ...

Global configurations of singularities for quadratic differential systems with exactly three finite singularities of total multiplicity four

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2015
In this article we obtain the geometric classification of singularities, finite and infinite, for the two subclasses of quadratic differential systems with total finite multiplicity $m_f=4$ possessing exactly three finite singularities, namely: systems ...

Zeta functions and Blow-Nash equivalence [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
We propose a refinement of the notion of blow-Nash equivalence between Nash function germs, which is an analog in the Nash setting of the blow-analytic equivalence defined by T.-C. Kuo. The new definition is more natural and geometric.

Global configurations of singularities for quadratic differential systems with exactly two finite singularities of total multiplicity four

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2014
In this article we obtain the geometric classification of singularities, finite and infinite, for the three subclasses of quadratic differential systems with $m_f=4$ possessing exactly two finite singularities, namely: (i) systems with two double complex

Kinematic Geometry of a Timelike Line Trajectory in Hyperbolic Locomotions

open access: yesAxioms, 2023
This study utilizes the axodes invariants to derive novel hyperbolic proofs of the Euler–Savary and Disteli formulae. The inflection circle, which is widely recognized, is situated on the hyperbolic dual unit sphere, in accordance with the principles of ...

A randomized phase I study comparing the pharmacokinetics of a bevacizumab (HD204) biosimilar to European Union- and United States of America-sourced bevacizumab.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2021
PurposeThis first-in-human study was designed to evaluate the pharmacokinetic (PK) equivalence between HD204 and the European Union (EU)-sourced bevacizumab, between HD204 and the United States of America (US)-sourced bevacizumab, and between EU-sourced ...

Equivalences of Geometric Ergodicity of Markov Chains

open access: yesJournal of Theoretical Probability, 2022
Abstract This paper gathers together different conditions which are all equivalent to geometric ergodicity of time-homogeneous Markov chains on general state spaces. A total of 34 different conditions are presented (27 for general chains plus 7 for reversible chains), some old and some new, in terms of such notions as convergence bounds, drift ...

On Proper Polynomial Maps of $\mathbb{C}^2.$ [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Two proper polynomial maps $f_1, f_2 \colon \mathbb{C}^2 \longrightarrow \mathbb{C}^2$ are said to be \emph{equivalent} if there exist $\Phi_1, \Phi_2 \in \textrm{Aut}(\mathbb{C}^2)$ such that $f_2=\Phi_2 \circ f_1 \circ \Phi_1$.

Evaluating the system reliability of the bridge structure using the unit half-logistic geometric distribution

open access: yesScientific African, 2023
The concept of reliability has gained widespread use in various fields, including manufacturing. This paper examines a system consisting of five components, including a bridge network component.

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.
