Statistical modeling of the geometric error in cardiac electrical imaging

2009 IEEE International Symposium on Biomedical Imaging: From Nano to Macro, 2009
Kalman filter approach provides a natural way to include the spatio-temporal prior information in cardiac electrical imaging. This study focuses on the performance of Kalman filter approach with geometric errors present in inverse Electrocardiography (ECG) problem. The geometric errors considered here are the wrong determination of the heart's size and

A novel modelling method of geometric errors for precision assembly

The International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology, 2017
Geometric errors are inevitably observable on machining parts and have huge influences on the assembly quality and precision of mechanical system. The modelling of geometric errors is the key issue for the prediction of their effects on the assembly quality.

Geometric Error Modeling for CNC Machine Tools Using Differential Transformation

2019 IEEE 3rd Advanced Information Management, Communicates, Electronic and Automation Control Conference (IMCEC), 2019
In this paper, a geometric error modeling method for five-axis CNC machine tools based on differential transformation method is proposed. Firstly, the machine geometry error model is established based on the coordinate system differential variation matrix.

Development of analysis model for geometric error in turning processes

Journal of Central South University, 2011
A finite element model was established for analyzing the geometric errors in turning operations and a two-step analyzing process was proposed. In the first analyzing step, the cutting force and the cutting heat for the cutting conditions were obtained using the AdvantEdge.

Modeling and Identification of Geometric Error Based on Screw Theory

Advanced Materials Research, 2014
In this paper, a new method is presented for the identification of machine tool component errors. Firstly, the Non-Uniform Rational B-spline (NURBS) is established to represent the geometric component errors. The individual geometric errors of the motion parts are measured by laser interferometer.

The Radome Detection Machine Tool Geometric Error Modeling and Measurement

Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2013
Antenna is an important and valuable component in industry. In order to protect it, the radome is adopted. As the non-uniform thickness of radome affects the performance of the antenna, in order to maintain the performance of antenna, it is necessary to have a dedicated device to detect the radome, thus the detection machine tool is used.

Object Recognition Through Topo-Geometric Shape Models Using Error-Tolerant Subgraph Isomorphisms

IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, 2010
We propose a method for 3-D shape recognition based on inexact subgraph isomorphisms, by extracting topological and geometric properties of a shape in the form of a shape model, referred to as topo-geometric shape model (TGSM). In a nutshell, TGSM captures topological information through a rigid transformation invariant skeletal graph that is ...

Geometric Error Modeling and Monitoring of the 3D Surface by Gaussian Correlation Model

2019 IEEE International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management (IEEM), 2019
Geometric error represents the deviation of the actual surface shape of a machined part from its ideal shape, which directly affects the quality of the 3D surface. Modeling and monitoring geometric error can reveal quality information of the 3D surface for evaluating the stability of the production process.

A Systematic Approach to Model Arbitrary Non Geometric Kinematic Errors

1994
We have developed the SYNE-model (SYstematic Non-redundant and Extandible) which increases modelling accuracy by adding a minimum number of non-geometric model parameters. The framework of the model is the geometric model. It contains a complete and minimal set of parameters that are chosen depending on the axes configuration of the manipulator.
