Invariant and geometric aspects of algebraic complexity theory I
The author investigates the following problem: What is the minimum number, denoted by \(L_ +(v_ 1,v_ 2,\dots,v_ t\mid x_ 1,x_ 2,\dots,x_ n)\), of those additive steps required to compute a given set \(v=(v_ 1,\dots,v_ t)\) of \(t\) linear forms of variables \(x_ 1,x_ 2,\dots,x_ n\).

Knowledge‐based atomistic workflows are presented for mechanical and thermodynamic properties. By coupling modular simulations with ontology‐aligned metadata and provenance, Fe case studies on elastic behavior, defects, thermal properties, and Hall–Petch strengthening reveal how FAIR, queryable, and reusable simulation data can be generated. Mechanical

Worldline theories with towers of internal states
We study particle theories that have a tower of worldline internal degrees of freedom. Such a theory can arise when the worldsheet of closed strings is dimensionally reduced to a worldline, in which case the tower is infinite with regularly spaced masses.

Coarse‐grained (left) and atomistic (right) models of the shape memory polymer ESTANE ETE 75DT3 are shown schematically. The two representations bridge molecular detail and mesoscopic description. Both models capture shape memory behavior, linking segmental mobility and conformational relaxation of anisotropic chains to macroscopic recovery, and ...

Semisimple Lie Group theory with application in geometric invariant theory
Master's thesis in Mathematics and physicsThe goal of this thesis was to learn about the theory of Lie algebras, Lie groups and some real geometric invariant theory, with emphasis on semisimple Lie group theory.

We study an $\mathrm{SL}(2, \mathbb{Z})$ symmetry of a variant of BCOV theory in three complex dimensions. Using conjectural descriptions of twists of superstrings in terms of topological strings, we argue that this action can be thought of as a version ...

A generalization of Mumford's geometric invariant theory
We generalize Mumford's construction of good quotients for reductive group actions. Replacing a single linearized invertible sheaf with a certain group of sheaves, we obtain a Geometric Invariant Theory producing not only the quasiprojective quotient spaces, but more generally all divisorial ones. As an application, we characterize in terms of the Weyl

Composite Ti–6Al–4V–epoxy lattice structures are additively manufactured and epoxy infiltrated for cyclic loading. At low lattice volume fractions, hybridization produces synergistic gains in stiffness and energy dissipation. At higher volume fractions, synergy diminishes, although composites still exceed metallic lattices in specific energy ...

Looking for partially-massless gravity
We study the possibility for a unitary theory of partially-massless (PM) spin-two field interacting with Gravity in arbitrary dimensions. We show that the gauge and parity invariant interaction of PM spin two particles requires the inclusion of specific ...
