Geometric metaplectic parameters [PDF]
The objective of this work is to understand metaplectic parameters of the geometric Langlands program. In the usual Langlands program, metaplectic parameters are given by Brylinski--Deligne data, i.e., central extensions of the reductive group $G$ by the second algebraic K-theory group $\mathbf K_2$.

Geometrical Parameter Optimization
2021The previous chapter described the development of a system model which uses measured acceleration data to simulate the motion of the magnet stack within an inductive EH device. From the magnet motion relative to the coils, the induced voltage across an ohmic load is determined and subsequently the average power output is calculated.

Geometric parameters of moiré fringes
Applied Optics, 1976The incoherent illumination moiré phenomenon between a periodic and a quasiperiodic structure is examined by the use of the spatial frequency analysis of the resultant transmittance. This approach has an advantage in that it completely explains all the fringe parameters without considering the averaging effect of the detecting system.

Geometric computations in parameter space
Proceedings of the 21st Spring Conference on Computer Graphics, 2005We review a family of related techniques for geometric computations in the parameter space of freeform curves and surfaces. Geometric constraint equations for freeform curves and surfaces have low degrees (often linear or quadratic) in x,y,z and considerably higher degrees in the curve or surface parameters.

The MLE of Geometric Parameter for a Geometric Process
Communications in Statistics - Theory and Methods, 2006In this article, we provide the MLE of the ratio parameter of a geometric process and discuss its consistency and asymptotic normality.

Identification of geometric and nongeometric parameters of robots
Proceedings., IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation, 2002A general calibration model is developed to represent both geometric and nongeometric errors in manipulator structure including rotary and/or prismatic joints. The aim of this model is to obtain the accuracy limit of the robot, often defined as repeatability.

Geometric Parameters of Pipettes and Membrane Patches
1983The object of the patch current measurement is a small membrane patch and a pipette tip of comparable dimensions. Both are at the limit of resolution of the optical microscope. Only rarely is it possible to “see” the membrane patch during the experiment, and even then quantitative evaluation of its size is impossible or difficult.

Identification and calibration of the geometric parameters of robots
1990This paper presents a general method to identify the geometric parameters of serial robots. The robot location and the tool location parameters are taken into account. Experimental results are applied on a six degree of freedom robot of cylindrical type.

On the parameters of algebraic geometric codes
1991We use Weierstrass gaps of points (places) to improve the lower bounds on the minimum distance and covering radius of Goppa codes and Reed-Solomon (RS) codes from function fields over finite fields. As a consequence, we show the existence of many optimal and sub-optimal codes from algebraic geometry. We give necessary conditions for equality to hold in
