Jets from a Geometrically Thick Disk. II
Publications of the Astronomical Society of Japan, 1984Abstract We study a steady isentropic jet in a funnel formed by a thick torus under the relativistic MHD approximation. It is found that the jet is accelerated magneto-hydrodynamically to become supersonic. Cold jets can be generated if the jets are mainly driven by the magnetic pressure rather than by the fluid pressure.

Modeling of geometrical effects of thick film components on their microwave performance
1989The article presented the results of a wideband characterization and modeling of the aspect ratio factor, the resistor area factor, and the laser trim effect of thick film resistor elements on their high frequency performance. Time domain measurement techniques are used in order to model these elements.
