A new method for calculating the sound energy density based on geometrical acoustics
Unlike the well-known computation of sound energy density based on the concept of sound intensity and on the assumptions of geometrical acoustics, in this paper a newcomputational scheme is developed and experimentally verified.

Indium substitution in Ag2Se nanocrystals simultaneously tailors electronic structure and lattice dynamics. Fermi‐level upshift and band‐gap narrowing enhance electrical transport, while defect‐induced lattice softening intensifies phonon scattering and suppresses lattice thermal conductivity.

Convergence study of phased geometrical acoustics using a low frequency reflection coefficient
This work investigates phased geometrical acoustics using a low frequency reflection coefficient. This reflection coefficient, which is derived from an exact solution to a half-space problem, consists of an integral of image sources located at complex ...

Impedance‐Matched High‐Overtone Thickness‐Shear Bulk Acoustic Resonators With Scalable Mode Volume
A bottom‐electrode‐free high‐overtone bulk acoustic resonator is achieved by lateral excitation of antisymmetric thickness‐shear modes on a lithium‐niobate‐on‐silicon platform. Planar electrode geometry eliminates conventional loading along the resonance path and confines acoustic energy within the electrode gap.

Creation of virtual sound environments using geometrical acoustics and finite elements method
In this paper, the sound pressure field of a small room was analysed using geometrical acoustics methods, a wave equation method in the frequency domain and binaural impulse response measurements in order to create virtual sound environments for specific

Nuclear mechanical properties are inherently scale‐dependent, arising from a hierarchical architecture that spans DNA, chromatin, the nuclear envelope, and condensates. Experimental techniques and theoretical models are integrated into a cohesive multiscale framework linking nanoscale structural features to organelle‐level mechanical behavior.
