Journal of Agricultural ResearchIn vitro propagation in gerbera is of high commercial value. Four varieties of Gerbera viz Submarine, Danallen, Savanna and Stanza were selected for callogenesis whereas Var. Stanza was used for embryo rescue/embryo. Calli were induced from clumps following standard explant sterilization procedure.
