In vitro responses of gerbera (Gerbera jamesonii) cultivars multiplied under different photoperiods
Light affects several aspects of micropropagation. Five cultivars of gerbera were subjected to photoperiodic regimes of 10, 12 and 16-h of light for the shoot multiplication.

Studies on Genetic Variability in Gerbera (Gerbera jamesonii)
An a empt was made to study the extent of genetic variability present in gerbera grown under protected conditions in mid-hills of West Bengal. The values for GVC, in general, were in closer proximity to that of PCV for almost all the characters indicating that these can be utilized in breeding programme.

THE ROLE OF LIGHT REGIME AND SUBSTRATE IN PHOTOSYNTHETIC PIGMENTS, FREE PROLINE CONTENT AND FLOWER QUALITY OF GERBERA JAMESONII L. [PDF]
The research of light and substrate role in leaf photosynthetic pigments, free proline content and flower quality indices in two gerbera cultivars (Vino and Ruby Red) showed that flower stems were longer in additional lighting treatment, coco’s peat ...

Bacterial Populations Related to Gerbera (Gerbera jamesonii L.) Stem Break
Bacterial distribution, both external (epiphytic) and internal (endophytic), on Gerbera jamesonii L. cv. Provence and its relationship to gerbera stem break and ethylene production were investigated. The greatest number of epiphytic bacteria was found at capitulum level and 20 cm below.
