Compensation effect enables high‐mobility in Te‐doped gallium antimonide
High crystal perfection, large diameter, and low defect density gallium antimonide (GaSb) crystals are always the targets for fabricating high‐quality GaSb‐based chips.

Atomic ionization by sterile-to-active neutrino conversion and constraints on dark matter sterile neutrinos with germanium detectors [PDF]
The transition magnetic moment of a sterile-to-active neutrino conversion gives rise to not only radiative decay of a sterile neutrino, but also its non-standard interaction (NSI) with matter.

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

Mechanism of Extracting Germanium from Ge-Containing Solution with Tannins
The process of germanium–tannin complex is the oldest form of technology for extracting germanium from Ge-containing solutions. This reaction mechanism is relatively controversial as it imposes restrictions on ideas and methods for reducing the amount of

β‐TrCP overexpression enhances cisplatin sensitivity by depleting BRCA1
Low levels of β‐TrCP (Panel A) allow the accumulation of BRCA1 and CtIP, which facilitate the repair of cisplatin‐induced DNA damage via homologous recombination (HR) and promote tumor cell survival. In contrast, high β‐TrCP expression (Panel B) leads to BRCA1 and CtIP degradation, impairing HR repair, resulting in persistent DNA damage and apoptosis ...

Territorial distribution of germanium in the c5 coal seam on the territory of the “Pavlohradska” mine [PDF]
The actual issues of the distribution of germanium in the c5 coal seam in the territory of the “Pavlohradska” mine of Western Donbas were studied. Three zones with high germanium content were found on the territory of the c5 seam, and their spatial ...

A simulation of the cluster structures in Ge-Se vitreous chalcogenide semiconductors
A structure of germanium selenide glasses is simulated by the featured clusters built from the tetrahedral GeSe4 units up to the clusters with six germanium atoms (Ge6Se16H4 and Ge6Se16H8).
