This retrospective cohort study used linked data to measure the proportion of women with rheumatic heart disease (RHD) who experienced major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) after 20 weeks of gestation. Before birth, 4.5% of women with initially uncomplicated RHD and 31.8% of women with initially complicated RHD experienced RHD‐MACE.

Higher maternal BMI before and during early pregnancy is associated with lower prolactin levels across gestation and a reduced prolactin rise. Prolactin in pregnancy may reflect maternal metabolic health and has potential relevance to lactation outcomes.

Home telemonitoring in high‐risk pregnancies: A Finnish retrospective cohort study
This retrospective study suggests that home telemonitoring may provide an acceptable approach for managing selected high‐risk pregnancies. Safe and effective implementation requires careful patient selection and adherence to evidence‐based clinical protocols.
