DECISION MAKING OF SELECTION USING GGE BIPLOT
Field experiment was conducted out Al-Anbar in winter season of 2011/2012 to investigate decision making of selection to the genotypes of caraway Carum carvi L. thus, to introduce in consequent breeding program and test effectiveness of GT Biplot and two model of multi-trait selection, master and against checks jointly in GGE Biplot software for seven ...

Ethiopia is among the wheat producers in sub‐Saharan Africa, and its productivity has increased in the last few years. The major bottlenecks to the low productivity of bread wheat are a shortage of improved technologies, such as well‐adapted varieties preferred by farmers, insufficient application of fertilizers, and fungal pathogens.

Fall armyworm (FAW) [Spodoptera frugiperda] is a new pest in sub‐Saharan Africa (SSA), first reported in 2016, and has fast become a pest of economic importance, causing losses of approximately 2.5–6.1 billion U.S. dollars in the region. Developing FAW‐resistant varieties presents an economically sustainable solution to mitigate this challenge.

Ammi, gge-biplot, and joint regression technique as a tool in measuring G × E interaction in 3-way cross maize (Zea mays L.) hybrids [PDF]
Genotype by environment (GE) interaction has a large impact on selecting adapted and predictable genotypes. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate maize genotypes across different environments, seasons or locations for a successful selection.

GGE biplot for stability and adaptability in cashew tree clones
The interaction genotype versus environment makes it difficult the genetic improvement of the species for the selection of more adapted and stable genotypes. Thus, the objective of this work was to evaluate new clones of early dwarf cashews, in terms of stability and adaptability, employing the GGE biplot methodology. The experimental design was ...

Genotype × environment (G × E) interaction is a key factor influencing the selection of stable and high‐yielding sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas L.) cultivars across diverse agroecological zones. The complexity of G × E interaction often leads to biased yield estimates in multienvironment trials, hindering phenotypic selection and impede breeding ...
