Pituitary tumor-transforming gene expression is a prognostic marker for tumor recurrence in squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck [PDF]
Background The proto-oncogene pituitary tumor-transforming gene (PTTG) has been shown to be abundantly overexpressed in a large variety of neoplasms likely promoting neo-vascularization and tumor invasiveness.

Azobenzene photoswitches translate molecular‐scale E/Z photoisomerization into macroscopic material responses and device‐level photonic functions. This Review highlights how azobenzene research has evolved from molecular photochemistry to photoalignment, mass migration, photomechanics, and heat release, ultimately enabling holography, reconfigurable ...

Giant cell tumor of soft tissue of hand: simple but rare diagnosis, which is often missed
Giant cell tumor of soft tissue originally described in 1972 in two different series by Salm and Sissons is a rare entity, which is clinically and histopathologically indistinguishable from giant cell tumor of bone.

Advanced Materials for Biologics Delivery to Brain Tumors
Material innovation is central to unlocking the therapeutic potential of biologics against many central nervous system diseases, including brain cancer. By engineering carriers with controlled transport, targeting, and release properties, advanced materials can overcome the blood–brain barrier and tumor microenvironment, improving the delivery of ...

Primary Giant Cell Tumor of Soft Tissue in The Female Breast
A giant cell tumor of soft tissue (GCT-ST) is a rare tumor composed of mononuclear and osteoclast-like multinucleated giant cells. It is a low-grade malignant potential tumor morphologically analog to a giant cell tumor of bone.

Giant Cell Tumor of the Occipital Bone [PDF]
Giant cell tumors of the skull are very rare. They seldom involve the skull and more often tend to involve the temporal and sphenoid bone. We present here the case of a 25 year-old female with giant cell tumor of the occipital bone who visited the ...

Rewiring Pyroptosis to Potentiate Cancer Immunotherapy via a Gasdermin D Agonist Bypassing Caspase‐3
This work introduces a small‐molecule agonist, DIBDO, that bypasses Casp‐3 to directly trigger GSDMD‐mediated pyroptosis in tumors. Activated by glutathione, DIBDO generates singlet oxygen and molecular iodine, blocking Casp‐3 pathways and inducing immunogenic cell death.
