Sympatric Distribution of Giant Pandas and Red Pandas in Sichuan Province: Habitat Overlap Patterns and Implications for the Giant Panda's Umbrella Effect [PDF]
In the context of limited biodiversity conservation resources, the umbrella species strategy is considered an efficient conservation approach. This study focuses on the sympatric distribution areas of the giant panda (Ailuropoda melanoleuca) and the red ...

We examine spherical p-branes in AdS_m x S^n, that wrap an S^p in either AdS_m (p=m-2) or S^n (p=n-2). We first construct a two-spin giant solution expanding in S^n and has spins both in AdS_m and S^n. For (m,n)={(5,5),(4,7),(7,4)}, it is 1/2 supersymmetric, and it reduces to the single-spin giant graviton when the AdS spin vanishes.

Possible Effects of Early Maternal Separation on the Gut Microbiota of Captive Adult Giant Pandas
Maternal deprivation (MD) in early life induces dysbiosis in the host gut microbiota, which is a key determinant of abnormal behavior in stress model individuals.

The Impact of Bamboo Consumption on the Spread of Antibiotic Resistance Genes in Giant Pandas
The spread of antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs) in the environment exacerbates the contamination of these genes; therefore, the role plants play in the transmission of resistance genes in the food chain requires further research.
