Plasmacytoma Arising in Giant Lymph Node Hyperplasia [PDF]

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Clinical Pathology, 1982

Giant lymph node hyperplasia with unusual clinicopathologic features [PDF]

open access: yesCancer, 1984
This report describes two cases of giant lymph node hyperplasia (GLNH) with unusual clinicopathologic features, both studied with immunohistochemical techniques. In the first case, mesenteric GLNH was associated with amyloidosis and the nephrotic syndrome. In the second, GLNH developed in a patient with previously treated Hodgkin's disease.

Giant lymph node hyperplasia of the mediastinum and refractory anaemia. [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Clinical Pathology, 1978
An example is described of the syndrome of refractory anaemia in association with the plasma cell variant of giant lymph node hyperplasia of the mediastinum; the anaemia responded to removal of the lymphoid mass. The entity of giant lymph node hyperplasia is discussed and its relationship to the haematological syndrome is considered.

An Atypical Presentation, Diagnostic Challenges, and Treatment Response of a Malignant Small Round Cell Tumor in the Lumbo‐Inguinal Region of an Infant [PDF]

open access: yesClin Case Rep
ABSTRACT Malignant small round cell tumors are a heterogeneous group of aggressive neoplasms characterized by small, round cell morphology. The undifferentiated cells in these tumors exhibit a high nuclear‐cytoplasmic ratio, and definitive histologic diagnosis via light microscopy can be extremely challenging. Diagnostic accuracy significantly improves
