Phosphorylation of PBK at Thr9 by CDK5 correlates with invasion of prolactinomas
The level of pPBK‐T9 is highly expressed in invasive PitNETs, CDK5 could promote the phosphorylation of PBK‐T9 through the p38 MAPK signaling pathway to promote cell proliferation and EMT progression. we revealed that this signaling axis in PitNETs, CDK5/PBK/p38 MAPK, promoted the tumorigenesis of PitNETs.
