Microscopic Insights into Magnetic Warping and Time‐Reversal Symmetry Breaking in Topological Surface States of Rare‐Earth‐Doped Bi2Te3

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Magnetic doping of the topological insulator Bi2Te3 with erbium adatoms induces out‐of‐plane magnetism and breaks time‐reversal symmetry, opening a Dirac gap and driving a Fermi surface transition from hexagonal to star‐of‐David geometry. Microscopy, spectroscopy, and magnetic dichroism reveal atomically controlled magnetic interactions that tailor the

Image of transfer from GL(2) x GL(3) to GL(6) done with latex

open access: yes, 2008
We characterize the image of the functorial transfer from GL(2) × GL(3) to GL(6) over global fields in cyclic automorphic induction cases by using available automorphic tools. Over local fields we characterize the image in general.

Distributions propres invariantes sur la paire sym\' etrique (gl(4,R),gl(2,R)*gl(2,R))

open access: yes, 2011
International audienceWe study orbital integrals and invariant eigendistributions for the symmetric pair (g,h)=(gl(4,R),gl(2,R)*gl(2,R)). Let q=g/h and let N be the set of nilpotents of q.

A Functional 2D Carbon Allotrope Combining Nanoporous Graphene and Biphenylene Segments

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The synthesis of a novel nanoporous graphene (NPG) is reported with biphenylene segments via thermal fusion of 12‐armchair porous graphene nanoribbons grown on gold surfaces. Characterization using STM, AFM, and DFT reveals low‐defect semiconducting behaviour and tunable band gaps.

Trend evaluation and comparison of the use and value of GL in core demography and computer science journals

open access: yes, 2004
Over the last ten years the impact of grey literature on conventional literature has frequently been studied. Studies have made use of bibliometric instruments used for citation analysis.

POM‐Based Water Splitting Catalyst Under Acid Conditions Driven by Its Assembly on Carbon Nanotubes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A newly‐engineered POM‐based electrocatalyst incorporating non‐innocent counter cations exhibits fast kinetics for either the OER or HER under strongly acidic conditions (1 m H2SO4), depending on whether it is assembled on carbon nanotubes (1@CNT) or physically mixed with them (1/CNT). In water‐splitting tests using a two‐electrode setup, these systems

Sub-convexity bound for GL (3) × GL (2) L-functions: Hybrid level aspect

open access: yes, 2021
Let F be a GL (3) Hecke-Maass cuspform of level P1 and f be a GL (2) Hecke-Maass cuspform of level P2. In this article, we will prove a subconvex bound for the GL (3)× GL (2) Rankin-Selberg L-function L (s, F× f) in the level aspect for certain ranges ...

Spin‐Split Edge States in Metal‐Supported Graphene Nanoislands Obtained by CVD

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Combining STM measurements and ab‐initio calculations, we show that zig‐zag edges in graphene nanoislands grown on Ni(111) by CVD retrieve their spin‐polarized edge states after intercalation of a few monolayers of Au. ABSTRACT Spin‐split states localized on zigzag edges have been predicted for different free‐standing graphene nanostructures.

Distributions propres invariantes sur la paire symétrique (gl(4,R)/gl(2,R)*gl(2,R))

open access: yes, 2010
We look for invariant eigendistributions for the symmetric pair (gl (4, R) / gl (2, R) *gl (2, R)). For this, I first describe the semisimple orbits of this quotient under Gl(2,R)*Gl(2,R) action.
