Anatomo‐Electro‐Clinical Features of Parietal Lobe Epilepsy: Insights From Scalp Video‐Electroencephalography

open access: yesCNS Neuroscience &Therapeutics, Volume 32, Issue 1, January 2026.
Interictal and ictal discharges in lateral superior parietal lobule epilepsy are predominantly recorded in centroparietal region electrodes. The initial ictal semiology of different parietal lobe epilepsy subregions is distinct and specific, with minimal overlap, reflecting early propagation networks.

The Interface of Oral and Brain Health: Current Insights Into the Bidirectional Relationship Between Alzheimer's Disease and Periodontitis

open access: yesCNS Neuroscience &Therapeutics, Volume 32, Issue 1, January 2026.
Bidirectional Pathogenesis Between AD and Periodontitis. Periodontal pathogens reach the brain via hematogenous/trigeminal/oral–intestinal pathways, triggering neuroinflammation and Aβ plaques to drive AD. Conversely, AD disrupts bone homeostasis (via Aβ, endocrine/autonomic dysregulation) to aggravate periodontitis.

Post‐Covid Alzheimer and Its Remediation via PROTACs Therapy: A Comprehensive Review

open access: yesHealth Science Reports, Volume 9, Issue 1, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Background and Aims Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder of aging characterized by memory loss and cognitive decline, associated with amyloid‐β toxicity, tau hyperphosphorylation, and neurofibrillary tangle formation. Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS‐CoV‐2) affects the central nervous system

From Molecule to Meaning: Neuronopathic Biomarkers and Clinical Relevance in GM1

open access: yesJournal of Inherited Metabolic Disease, Volume 49, Issue 1, January 2026.
ABSTRACT GM1 gangliosidosis is a rare, progressively neurodegenerative lysosomal storage disorder characterized by profound central nervous system involvement and substantial clinical heterogeneity. The development of reliable biomarkers is essential for tracking disease progression, stratifying patients, and advancing clinical trial readiness. Primary
