Dynamics of a damped quintic wave equation with time-dependent coefficients

open access: yesAIMS Mathematics
We present a comprehensive investigation of the long-term dynamics generated by a semilinear wave equation with time-dependent coefficients and quintic nonlinearity on a bounded domain subject to Dirichlet boundary conditions.

Uniform global attractors for the nonautonomous 3D Navier-Stokes equations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
We obtain the existence and the structure of the weak uniform (with respect to the initial time) global attractor and construct a trajectory attractor for the 3D Navier-Stokes equations (NSE) with a fixed time-dependent force satisfying a translation ...

A determining form for the damped driven Nonlinear Schr\"odinger Equation- Fourier modes case

open access: yes, 2014
In this paper we show that the global attractor of the 1D damped, driven, nonlinear Schr\"odinger equation (NLS) is embedded in the long-time dynamics of a determining form.

Global attractor for a class of nonlinear lattices

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 2010
AbstractWe consider a class of nonlinear lattices with nonlinear damping(0.1)u¨n(t)+(−1)pΔpun(t)+αun(t)+h(un(t))+g(n,u˙n(t))=fn, where n∈Z, t∈R+, α is a real positive constant, p is any positive integer and Δ is the discrete one-dimensional Laplace operator.

Association of high‐dose radioactive iodine therapy with PPM1D‐mutated clonal hematopoiesis in older individuals

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In thyroid cancer patients, high‐dose (≥7.4 GBq) radioactive iodine therapy (RAIT) was associated with a higher prevalence of clonal hematopoiesis (variant allele frequency >2%) in individuals aged ≥50 years (OR = 2.44). In silico analyses showed that truncating PPM1D mutations conferred a selective advantage under these conditions.

Global attractors for a class of degenerate diffusion equations

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2003
In this paper we give two existence results for a class of degenerate diffusion equations with p-Laplacian. One is on a unique global strong solution, and the other is on a global attractor.

Cortical free association dynamics: distinct phases of a latching network

open access: yes, 2012
A Potts associative memory network has been proposed as a simplified model of macroscopic cortical dynamics, in which each Potts unit stands for a patch of cortex, which can be activated in one of S local attractor states.

Trajectory and global attractors for generalized processes

open access: yesDiscrete & Continuous Dynamical Systems - B, 2019
In this work the theory of generalized processes is used to describe the dynamics of a nonautonomous multivalued problem and, through this approach, some conditions for the existence of trajectory attractors are proved. By projecting the trajectory attractor on the phase space, the uniform attractor for the multivalued process associated to the problem

Beyond digital twins: the role of foundation models in enhancing the interpretability of multiomics modalities in precision medicine

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This review highlights how foundation models enhance predictive healthcare by integrating advanced digital twin modeling with multiomics and biomedical data. This approach supports disease management, risk assessment, and personalized medicine, with the goal of optimizing health outcomes through adaptive, interpretable digital simulations, accessible ...

Global attractor and finite dimensionality for a class of dissipative equations of BBM's type

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 1998
In this work we study the Cauchy problem for a class of nonlinear dissipative equations of Benjamin-Bona-Mahony's type. We discuss the existence of a global attractor and estimate its Hausdorff and fractal dimensions.
