Global well-posedness for the Schroedinger equation coupled to a nonlinear oscillator
The Schroedinger equation with the nonlinearity concentrated at a single point proves to be an interesting and important model for the analysis of long-time behavior of solutions, such as the asymptotic stability of solitary waves and properties of weak ...

ABSTRACT Introduction Pre‐dilution online hemodiafiltration (Pre‐HDF) is predominantly used in Japan, whereas post‐dilution online HDF (Post‐HDF) is more common in Europe. An asymmetric cellulose triacetate (ATA) membrane may improve biocompatibility.

Global attractor for the Cahn-Hilliard system [PDF]
The Cahn-Hilliard system, a natural extension of the single Cahn-Hilliard equation in the case of multicomponent alloys, will be shown to generate a dissipative semigroup on the phase space ℋ = [H2(Ω)]m. Following Hale's ideas and based on the existence and form of the Lyapunov functional, our main result will be the existence of a global attractor on ...

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Global Attraction to Solitary Waves in Models Based on the Klein-Gordon Equation
We review recent results on global attractors of U(1)-invariant dispersive Hamiltonian systems. We study several models based on the Klein-Gordon equation and sketch the proof that in these models, under certain generic assumptions, the weak global ...

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

Upper Semicontinuity of Pullback Attractors for the 3D Nonautonomous Benjamin-Bona-Mahony Equations
We will study the upper semicontinuity of pullback attractors for the 3D nonautonomouss Benjamin-Bona-Mahony equations with external force perturbation terms. Under some regular assumptions, we can prove the pullback attractors 𝒜ε(t) of equation ut-Δut-

Global Attractors for Semilinear Parabolic Problems Involving X-Elliptic Operators
We consider semilinear parabolic equations involving an operator that is X-elliptic with respect to a family of vector fields X with suitable properties.
