The potential and flux landscape theory of ecology. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2014
The species in ecosystems are mutually interacting and self sustainable stable for a certain period. Stability and dynamics are crucial for understanding the structure and the function of ecosystems.

Quasi-potential landscape in complex multi-stable systems

open access: yes, 2012
Developmental dynamics of multicellular organism is a process that takes place in a multi-stable system in which each attractor state represents a cell type and attractor transitions correspond to cell differentiation paths.

Potential therapeutic targeting of BKCa channels in glioblastoma treatment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review summarizes current insights into the role of BKCa and mitoBKCa channels in glioblastoma biology, their potential classification as oncochannels, and the emerging pharmacological strategies targeting these channels, emphasizing the translational challenges in developing BKCa‐directed therapies for glioblastoma treatment.

Robust exponential attractors for a parabolic–hyperbolic phase-field system

open access: yesBoundary Value Problems, 2018
In this paper, we construct a robust family of exponential attractors for a parabolic–hyperbolic phase-field system (PHPFS), which describes phase separation in material sciences, e.g., melting and solidification.

Dynamical Analysis and Periodic Solution of a Chaotic System with Coexisting Attractors

open access: yesComplexity, 2021
Chaotic attractors with no equilibria, with an unstable node, and with stable node-focus are presented in this paper. The conservative solutions are investigated by the semianalytical and seminumerical method.

Global attractors for gradient flows in metric spaces [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
We develop the long-time analysis for gradient flow equations in metric spaces. In particular, we consider two notions of solutions for metric gradient flows, namely energy and generalized solutions.

Global and exponential attractors for the Penrose-Fife system

open access: yes, 2008
The Penrose-Fife system for phase transitions is addressed. Dirichlet boundary conditions for the temperature are assumed. Existence of global and exponential attractors is proved.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

On the dynamics of generators of Cauchy horizons

open access: yes, 1994
We discuss various features of the dynamical system determined by the flow of null geodesic generators of Cauchy horizons. Several examples with non--trivial (``chaotic'', ``strange attractors'', etc.) global behaviour are constructed. Those examples are

Dammarenediol II enhances etoposide‐induced apoptosis by targeting O‐GlcNAc transferase and Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling in liver cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Etoposide induces DNA damage, activating p53‐dependent apoptosis via caspase‐3/7, which cleaves PARP1. Dammarenediol II enhances this apoptotic pathway by suppressing O‐GlcNAc transferase activity, further decreasing O‐GlcNAcylation. The reduction in O‐GlcNAc levels boosts p53‐driven apoptosis and influences the Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling pathway ...
