Characterizing the salivary RNA landscape to identify potential diagnostic, prognostic, and follow‐up biomarkers for breast cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study explores salivary RNA for breast cancer (BC) diagnosis, prognosis, and follow‐up. High‐throughput RNA sequencing identified distinct salivary RNA signatures, including novel transcripts, that differentiate BC from healthy controls, characterize histological and molecular subtypes, and indicate lymph node involvement.

Blow-up for p-Laplacian parabolic equations

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2003
In this article we give a complete picture of the blow-up criteria for weak solutions of the Dirichlet problem $$ u_t= abla(| abla u|^{p-2} abla u)+lambda |u|^{q-2}u,quad hbox{in } Omega_T, $$ where $p>1$.

Global existence and convergence of Yamabe flow

open access: yesJournal of Differential Geometry, 1994
Let \((M^n,g)\) be closed, \(n \geq 3\), \(R_g\) the scalar curvature of \(g\), \([g_0]\) the conformal class of \(g_0\), \(S(g) = (\text{vol} (g))^{- (n - 2)/n} \int_M R_g d \text{vol} (g)\) and \(s_g = (\text{vol} (g))^{-1} \int_M R_g d \text{vol} (g)\).

Bridging the gap: Multi‐stakeholder perspectives of molecular diagnostics in oncology

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Although molecular diagnostics is transforming cancer care, implementing novel technologies remains challenging. This study identifies unmet needs and technology requirements through a two‐step stakeholder involvement. Liquid biopsies for monitoring applications and predictive biomarker testing emerge as key unmet needs. Technology requirements vary by

Boundedness of solutions in a two-species chemotaxis system

open access: yesElectronic Research Archive
In this paper, we consider an initial-Neumann boundary value problem for a two-species chemotaxis system \begin{document}$ \begin{equation*} \left\{ \begin{array}{ll} \frac{\partial u}{\partial t} = \Delta u-\chi\nabla \cdot (u\nabla w)+u(a_{1}-b_{1}u^{

The influence of ROS1 fusion partners and resistance mechanisms in ROS1‐TKI‐treated non‐small cell lung cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This real‐world study of ROS1+ NSCLC highlights fusion diversity, treatment outcomes with crizotinib and lorlatinib, and in vitro experiments with resistance mechanisms. G2032R drives strong resistance to ROS1‐targeted TKIs, especially lorlatinib. Fusion partner location does not affect overall survival to crizotinib or lorlatinib. Findings support the

Global existence, blow-up and stability of standing waves for the Schrödinger-Choquard equation with harmonic potential

open access: yesAIMS Mathematics
In this article, we conduct a comprehensive investigation into the global existence, blow-up and stability of standing waves for a $ L^{2} $-critical Schrödinger-Choquard equation with harmonic potential.

Emerging role of ARHGAP29 in melanoma cell phenotype switching

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study gives first insights into the role of ARHGAP29 in malignant melanoma. ARHGAP29 was revealed to be connected to tumor cell plasticity, promoting a mesenchymal‐like, invasive phenotype and driving tumor progression. Further, it modulates cell spreading by influencing RhoA/ROCK signaling and affects SMAD2 activity. Rho GTPase‐activating protein
