C–C chemokine receptor type 9 (CCR9) is an immune checkpoint in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). Novel anti‐CCR9 antibody SRB2 was evaluated in combination with cytotoxic chemotherapy in PDAC cells, patient‐derived organoids, patient‐derived xenografts, and humanized mouse models.

DIFFERENTIAL EVOLUTION WITH COMPETITIVE SETTING OF CONTROL PARAMETERS
This paper is focused on the adaptation of control parameters in differential evolution. Competition of various control parameter settings was proposed in order to ensure self-adaptation of parameter values in the search process.

Simulator-based training of generative neural networks for the inverse design of metasurfaces
Metasurfaces are subwavelength-structured artificial media that can shape and localize electromagnetic waves in unique ways. The inverse design of these devices is a non-convex optimization problem in a high dimensional space, making global optimization ...

Global Optimization Using Space Filling Curves
The existence of space filling curves opens the way to reducing multivariate optimization problems to the minimization of univariate functions. In this paper, we analyze the Hoelder continuity of space filling curves and exploit this property in the ...

On Complexity of a Global Optimization Problem [PDF]
The Solution of the Subproblem of the Cutting Angle Method of Global Optimization for problems of minimizing increasing Positively Homogeneous of degree one functions is proved to be NP-Complete. For the proof of this fact we formulate another problem which we call "Dominating Subset with Minimal Weight".

Unraveling LINE‐1 retrotransposition in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma
The novel RetroTest method allows the detection of L1 activation in clinical samples with low DNA input, providing global L1 activity and the identification of the L1 source element. We applied RetroTest to a real‐world cohort of HNSCC patients where we reported an early L1 activation, with more than 60% of T1 patients showing L1 activity.

Numerical analysis of quantization-based optimization
We propose a number-theory-based quantized mathematical optimization scheme for various NP-hard and similar problems. Conventional global optimization schemes, such as simulated and quantum annealing, assume stochastic properties that require multiple ...

GLOBAL OPTIMIZATION METHODS [PDF]
Training a neural network is a difficult optimization problem because of numerous local minimums. Many global search algorithms have been used to train neural networks. However, local search algorithms are more efficient with computational resources, and

Cotargeting EGFR and STAT3 with Erlotinib and TTI‐101 impairs both 2D and 3D growth of ETV1‐overexpressing prostate cancer cells by disrupting a self‐sustaining ETV1–EGFR positive feedback loop that promotes EGFR and STAT3 expression and phosphorylation (activation).
