Influence of Renal Function on Phosphoramide Mustard Exposure: A Nonlinear Mixed‐Effects Analysis
Abstract Phosphoramide mustard (PM) is the final cytotoxic metabolite formed from the parent compound cyclophosphamide through a complex metabolic pathway, primarily through hepatic metabolism. Little is known about the effect of renal elimination on the disposition of PM.

Purification and partial characterization of storage proteins in Lupinus angustifolius seeds
Lupinus angustifolius seed proteins have been purified by sequential dialysis and ion exchange chromatography, and their amino acid composition has been studied in order to determine their nutritional value as sources of essential amino acids.

Mitochondrial protein import [PDF]
Transport of nuclear-encoded precursor proteins into mitochondria includes proteolytic cleavage of aminoterminal targeting sequences in the mitochondrial matrix. We have isolated the processing activity from Neurospora crassa.

Abstract Background Hepatitis B virus‐related acute‐on‐chronic liver failure (HBV‐ACLF) is a life‐threatening disease with high short‐term mortality. Early and accurate prognosis is significant for clinical decisions, in which liver volume (LV) imparts important information. However, LV has not been considered in current prognostic models for HBV‐ACLF.

THE ABSORPTION OF ALBUMINS AND GLOBULINS. [PDF]
As albumins are non-dialyzable it was supposed until within recent years that they could not be absorbed as such, that they must be digested. The practice of rectal feeding has disproved this. Considerable quantities of undigested albumins are absorbed apparently unchanged. Is there any such absorption from the stomach or small intestine?
