Glucomannan utilization operon ofBacillus subtilis [PDF]

This study characterizes the glucomannan utilization operon (gmuBACDREFG, formerly ydhMNOPQRST) of Bacillus subtilis. Transcription of the operon is induced by konjac glucomannan and requires the last mannanase gene (gmuG).
