ABSTRACT Moringa oleifera Lam. seeds contain WSMoL, a lectin previously studied for toxicity and pharmacological effects. In this study, we investigated WSMoL (10, 25, or 50 mg/kg i.p.) for acute and 14‐day repeated‐dose toxicity, as well as genotoxicity, in Swiss mice.

BDH1 Attenuates Macrophage Foam Cell Formation and Inflammation in Atherosclerosis Via Modulating Histone H3K9 Acylation Balance and Activating PPAR Signaling

In atherosclerotic lesions, BDH1 expression is downregulated in plaque macrophages. In ox‐LDL‐induced RAW264.7 macrophages, BDH1 overexpression maintains H3K9 acylation homeostasis by upregulating H3K9ac and downregulating H3K9bhb, thereby increasing cell viability, reducing lipid accumulation, decreasing TNF‐α, and increasing IL‐10.
