Studies on Monoterpene Glucosides. VII. Iridoid Glucosides of Paederia scandens
Four new glucosides, paederoside (II), paederosidic acid (III), scandoside (IV) and deacetylasperuloside (V) along with asperuloside (I) were isolated as iridoid glucosides from Paederia scandens (LOUR.) MERRILL var. mairei (Leville) HARA and their structures were established. II and III are sulfur-containing glucosides.

ABSTRACT In recent years, much research has focused on the valorization of Crocus sativus by‐products as sources of bioactive compounds. This study was designed to investigate the impact of two different drying methods, freeze‐drying and air‐drying, on the phenolic content and antioxidant activity of leaves and tepals by‐products from C.

The Crystal and Molecular Structures of Esculetin 6-Glucoside and 7-Glucoside [PDF]
Abstract The structures of two dihydroxycoumarin glucosides, esculetin 6-glucoside (E6G) and escultin 7-glucoside (E7G) have been determined by the X-ray analysis. The crystal data are: E6G, C15H16O9·1.5H2O, orthorhombic P212121 with a=11.358(2), b=36.850(9), c=7.663(1) Å and Z=8: and E7G, C15H16O9·2H2O, orthorhombic P212121 with a=4.507(

Pharmacokinetic Prediction and Cytotoxicity of New Quercetin Derivatives
ABSTRACT Quercetin (QUE) possesses various pharmacological properties; however, its low bioavailability and solubility hinder its beneficial effects. Enzymatic glycosylation has been explored to improve these aspects. In the present study, we used a sucrose phosphorylase variant to catalyze the regioselective transglucosylation of QUE, predicted the ...
