Maternal Exercise Rescues Fetal Akinesia‐Impaired Joint and Bone Development
Spontaneous fetal movements exert mechanical forces that shape the developing skeleton. Clinically, conditions that impair fetal movements (i.e., fetal akinesia) can cause defects in skeletal development.
