Spatiotemporal Targeting Randle Cycle and Immune Checkpoint for Potent Antitumor Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A glucose oxidase‐based nanogel (GOX‐NG) system using catechol‐functionalized alginate, exhibits enhanced tumor penetration, prolonged retention, and sustained glucose depletion in the tumor microenvironment. When combined with a fatty acid oxidation inhibitor, it implements dual metabolic suppression, thereby enhancing ROS‐induced immunogenic cell ...

Intoxication syndrome in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis in relation to the system glutathione transferase gene polymorphism

open access: yesЖурнал инфектологии, 2017
In 178 patients with different clinical forms of pulmonary tuberculosis carried out pharmacogenetic testing to determine gene polymorphism glutathione S-transferase system (GSTM1, GSTT1).

Expression of Glutathione S-transferase-pi (GST-pi)and Metallothionein (MT)in Lung Cancer [PDF]

open access: yes, 1997

DHODH Drives Sunitinib Resistance Via a Non‐Enzymatic Mechanism by Inhibiting TRIM28 Ubiquitination and Consequent VEGFA Activation in RCC

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This non‑enzymatic function of DHODH drives sunitinib resistance by competing with TRIM37 to block TRIM28 ubiquitination, thereby stabilizing TRIM28 and activating VEGFA transcription. Disrupting the DHODH–TRIM28 interaction with lisaftoclax restores drug sensitivity.

Enhanced Expression of Glutathione S-Transferase in the Hippocampus Following Acute Treatment With Trimethyltin In Vivo

open access: yesJournal of Pharmacological Sciences, 2010
We investigated the effects of treatment with trimethyltin (TMT) on the expression of glutathione-related enzymes in mouse hippocampus. TMT promoted the expression of glutathione S-transferase (GST) Ya/Yc mRNA, and GSTA2 protein, but not that of ...

The Role of Glutathione Transferases in the Detoxification of TNT [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Manufacture, use, storage and improper disposal of the explosive 2,4,6-trinitrotoluene (TNT) have led to widespread, global contamination of soil and groundwater.

Material‐Encoded Synchronization of Immunogenic Cell Death With Adenosine A2A Receptor Blockade Reprograms the Tumor Microenvironment

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A bismuth–copper diselenide–based nanoplatform (BSCS@PHY) coordinates immunogenic cell death with local A2A receptor blockade in 4T1 tumors. Thermally triggered shell melting exposes catalytic surfaces for glutathione depletion and chemodynamic ROS generation, while co‐delivering an A2AR antagonist and yeast‐wall adjuvant to enhance dendritic‐cell ...

Glutathione metabolism in Urtica dioica in response to cadmium based oxidative stress

open access: yesBiologia Plantarum, 2016
To investigate the antioxidative response of glutathione metabolism in Urtica dioica L. to a cadmium induced oxidative stress, activities of glutathione reductase (GR), glutathione-S-transferase (GST), and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px), content of ...

INTERACTIONS AMONG GLUTATHIONE S-TRANSFERASE, GLUTATHIONE REDUCTASE ACTIVITY AND GLUTATHIONE CONTENTS IN LEAVES OF Vicia faba L. SUBJECTED TO FLUROCHLORIDONE [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
In this study, Vicia sativa L. Selcuk-99 plant was treated with post-emergence flurochloridone in a concentration range of 11-72 mM. The effects of post-emergence flurochloridone treatments upon glutathione levels, glutathione s-transferase and ...

MAM‐Localized MANF Counteracts Microinflammatory Stress to Attenuate Mitochondrial Dysfunction and Cataractogenesis in High Myopia

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Chronic microinflammation in high myopia suppresses MANF in lens epithelial cells. MANF normally resides within MAMs and promotes ubiquitin‐mediated degradation of the ER Ca2+ pump SERCA2. MANF loss causes pathological SERCA2 accumulation, MAM hyperassembly, and disrupted ER‐to‐mitochondria Ca2+ transfer, leading to mitochondrial failure, oxidative ...
