Non‐isocyanate polyhydroxyurethanes (PHUs) were synthesized from resorcinol bis(cyclocarbonate) and eco‐friendly diamines under mild, catalyst‐free conditions. Stabilized Cellulase in Chitosan–Polyvinyl Alcohol Biopolymer Beads for Sustainable Enzymatic Deinking of Recycled Paper

A stable and reusable biocatalyst, cellulase@Cs/PVA/Ga, is engineered by immobilizing cellulase onto glutaraldehyde‐activated chitosan (Cs) and coating it with polyvinyl alcohol. This composite system enhances enzymatic stability and efficiency for the sustainable deinking of recycled newspaper, offering a green alternative to harsh chemical treatments.
