Lactate Homeostasis Disruption Potentiates TACE‐Immunotherapy in Hepatocellular Carcinoma
Lactate homeostasis is disrupted through spatially coordinated extracellular neutralization and intracellular acidification, triggering calcium overload, mitochondrial dysfunction, and immunogenic cell death. This metabolic reprogramming alleviates the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment and enhances immune checkpoint blockade, providing a ...

Bromide–Borate Coupling Enables Selective Electrochemical Oxidation of Glycerol to Dihydroxyacetone
Bromide–borate coupling enables selective electrochemical upgrading of glycerol to dihydroxyacetone (DHA). Electrogenerated bromine species mediate glycerol oxidation, while borate coordination biases selectivity toward DHA, enabling carbon‐balanced oxidation and high productivity in flow‐cell operation.

Chemical constituents of the essential oil and organic acids from longkong (Aglaia dookkoo Griff.) fruits [PDF]
The pulp of longkong fruits (Aglaia dookkoo Griff.), collected from Narathiwat province, was dried and extracted by steam distillation to obtain the essential oil in 0.48% yield. The GC-MS data showed oleic acid (14.80%), α-copaene (11.15%), germacrene-D

A phase‐programmed microneedle patch, comprising a poly (lactic‐co‐glycolic acid) (PLGA) shell and a sulfobutylether‐β‐cyclodextrin (SBECD) core, is designed for sequential hydrogen and quercetin release for scar‐reduced regeneration of burn wounds. ABSTRACT Burn wounds complicated by bacterial infection and fibrotic scarring remain a major clinical ...

Adsorption equilibria of glycolic acid by activated carbon
This paper aims to present novel data of adsorption for the removal of glycolic acid from aqueous solutions by activated carbon. Experimental works were carried out in the system of aqueous glycolic acid solutions in four different concentrations (2 %, 5

Diffuse scattering from crystals of glycolic acid
From numerous experimental and theoretical studies of the thermal diffuse scattering of x-rays by molecular crystals, it follows that the loosely bound molecules in these crystals may undergo translational and librational oscillations as rigid units and ...

Single‐cell and spatial transcriptomics implicate senescent B cells and macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MIF) signaling in aging and osteoarthritic joints. An injectable hydrogel combining quercetin with siRNA targeting MIF attenuates cartilage degeneration in a mouse model of osteoarthritis.

FTIR matrix isolation and theoretical studies of glycolic acid dimers
Glycolic acid (GA) dimers were studied in low temperature argon matrices by means of FTIR spectroscopy. Experimentally, the dimers were produced when monomeric glycolic acid molecules were thermally mobilized upon annealing of argon matrices at 25–35 K ...
