ABSTRACT Wine yeasts play a central role in alcoholic fermentation and significantly contribute to the sensory attributes of wines through cellular autolysis during lees aging (sur lie), especially in white wines. This process releases organic compounds that alter the wine's chemical and sensory profile.

The Critical Role of GALNTs‐Regulated O‐GalNAc Glycosylation in Cancer Malignancy
The GALNT family initiates mucin‐type O‐GalNAc glycosylation in the Golgi apparatus and how regulatory mechanisms, including GALNT relocalization and microRNA control, modulate this process. Dysregulated O‐GalNAc glycosylation alters key cellular behaviors and promotes cancer malignancy, highlighting its relevance to tumor progression as well as its ...

A Streamlined Synthesis of Adenosine Vinylsulfonamide Probes for Aminoacyl‐AMP Mimicry in NRPS
A concise three‐step synthesis enables access to amino acid‐derived adenosine vinylsulfonamide (AVS) probes under mild conditions. Ba(OH)2‐mediated coupling suppresses epimerization, affording stereochemically defined probes that covalently capture nonribosomal peptide synthetase (NRPS) thioesterification states. LC–MS/MS confirms functional engagement

Breaking Down Barriers: CorA Effectively Targets Staphylococcal Biofilms in Vitro and in Vivo
Corallopyronin A (CorA), a natural alpha‐pyrone antibiotic, penetrates Staphylococcus aureus biofilms and inhibits RNA polymerase. This work demonstrates CorA's superior efficacy compared to rifampicin and dalbavancin in reducing viable loads in biofilms both in vitro and in vivo. Graphic created in https://BioRender.com.

This study identifies B4GALNT4 as a key driver of prostate cancer (PCa). It shows that B4GALNT4 glycosylates PDK1 protein at the N531 site, which stabilizes the PDK1 and constitutively activates the PI3K‐AKT pathway. This mechanism promotes tumor cell proliferation, migration, and invasion. The findings establish the B4GALNT4‐PDK1 glycosylation axis as
