Clinical Characteristics and Treatment Patterns of Hyperhidrosis in Northern Hokkaido: A Single-Center Retrospective Descriptive Study. [PDF]
ABSTRACT Hyperhidrosis is a common condition associated with a substantial negative impact on the quality of life. Several studies have described the clinical characteristics and disease burden of patients with hyperhidrosis in Japan. However, comparable real‐world clinical data on hyperhidrosis from Hokkaido remain limited. We therefore evaluated real‐

Utilization Patterns of Nebulized Glycopyrronium in Patients Hospitalized for Acute Exacerbations of Obstructive Airway Disease (AEOAD)—Indian Expert Perspectives [PDF]
Background: Acute exacerbation of obstructive airway disease (AEOAD) is a major cause of hospitalization, morbidity, and premature mortality in India. Hospitalized patients for the same are predominantly treated with short-acting bronchodilators, which ...

Exploring the possibility of a predictable precision therapy of COPD with inclusion of glycopyrronium responsiveness: A real-world experience [PDF]
Background: The advent of glycopyrronium responsiveness has opened the prospect of selective responsiveness-based prescription of bronchodilators-β2-agonists or anti-muscarinic agents (AMA) for COPD.

Temporal and Partial Reversal of Airflow Limitation in Patients With COPD Treated With Single-Inhaler Long-Acting Dual Bronchodilators. [PDF]
Single‐inhaler dual bronchodilator therapy significantly improved FEV1, FEV1/FVC, and other spirometry parameters in patients with COPD. The improvements in FEV1 and FEV1/FVC exhibits different trends. Notably, 21 patients (11.5%) achieved a reversal of the FEV1/FVC ratio to over 70%.

COPD and glycopyrronium responsiveness assessment: An appraisal
Clinical Trial Registration: ECR/159/Inst/WB/2013/RR-20 Background: Glycopyrronium bromide (a long-acting antimuscarinic agent: LAMA) appears pharmacokinetically suitable for testing bronchodilator responsiveness as salbutamol (short-acting β2-agonist ...

Effects of long-acting muscarinic antagonists on promoting ciliary function in airway epithelium
Background Mucociliary clearance (MCC) is an essential defense mechanism in airway epithelia for removing pathogens from the respiratory tract. Impaired ciliary functions and MCC have been demonstrated in asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (
