Revealing Airflow–Particle Dynamics in Dry Powder Inhalers
An integrated framework combining device and formulation characterization, CFD–DEM simulations, and interpretable machine learning is established. This framework reveals how airflow and particle interactions govern powder dispersion across prevailing dry powder inhalers.

ABSTRACT These updated EAACI guidelines aim to standardize skin testing methodologies for both immediate and non‐immediate drug hypersensitivity reactions. For immediate reactions, the optimal testing window is 4–6 weeks post‐reaction; whereas beyond 6 months, false‐negative results increase.

Abstract Ensifentrine (formerly called RPL 554) is a novel, first in class, inhaled bifunctional dual PDE3/4 inhibitor for the treatment of chronic respiratory diseases. Ensifentrine exhibits both bronchodilation via PDE3 inhibition and anti‐inflammatory activity via PDE4 inhibition.

Computed tomography (CT)-assessed bronchodilation induced by inhaled indacaterol and glycopyrronium/indacaterol in COPD [PDF]
Background: Our previous studies suggested that the site of bronchodilation on CT might differ between inhaled β2 agonists and inhaled anticholinergics in COPD.

Summary Background and objectives Primary axillary hyperhidrosis (PAHH) results from dysregulation of the autonomic nervous system and typically begins during puberty. Treatment options for adolescents remain limited. This open‐label phase II study evaluated the safety, local tolerability, systemic exposure, and efficacy of 1% GPB cream over 8 weeks in

Updates in COPD Management: From Inflammatory Pathways to Targeted Therapies
COPD is a heterogeneous disease driven by overlapping neutrophilic and eosinophilic inflammatory pathways. This review highlights the shift from symptom‐based treatment toward phenotype‐ and biomarker‐directed care. Blood eosinophils, FeNO, and IgE predict corticosteroid responsiveness and identify candidates for biologic therapy.

A novel model-based approach for dose determination of glycopyrronium bromide in COPD
Background Glycopyrronium bromide (NVA237) is an inhaled long-acting muscarinic antagonist in development for treatment of COPD. This study compared the efficacy and safety of once-daily (OD) and twice-daily (BID) glycopyrronium bromide regimens, using a

Aim The aim of this paper is to examine inhaled formoterol concentrations in hair and assess the potential of hair analysis as a tool for measuring long‐term adherence, by validation with objective data from digital inhalers. Methods Hair samples and digital inhaler data were collected from patients with COPD in 10 hospitals in the Netherlands as part ...

Glycopyrronium bromide for the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
Glycopyrronium bromide is a new long-acting muscarinic antagonist to be used once-daily, which is approved as a bronchodilator for the symptomatic maintenance treatment of adult patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

A blinded evaluation of the efficacy and safety of glycopyrronium, a once-daily long-acting muscarinic antagonist, versus tiotropium, in patients with COPD: the GLOW5 study [PDF]
Background Two once-daily long-acting muscarinic antagonists (LAMAs) are currently available for the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) – tiotropium and glycopyrronium.
