Antithrombotic phenolic compounds from Glycyrrhiza uralensis
Fitoterapia, 2012A new coumestan, named glycyrurol, and nine phenolic compounds were isolated from the ethyl acetate extract of the roots and rhizomes of Glycyrrhiza uralensis. Their structures were elucidated based on spectroscopic analysis and literature data, and anticoagulative assay found significant antithrombotic activity of compounds 4, 8 and 10.

Flavonoid glycosides of the roots of Glycyrrhiza uralensis
Phytochemistry, 1985Abstract The structure of a flavanone glycoside from the roots of Glycyrrhiza uralensis has been confirmed as 4′-O-[β- d -apio- d -furanosyl-(1 → 2)-β- d -glucopyranosyl]liquiritigenin. In addition, two known flavonoid glucosides, ononin (a minor component) and liquiritin (a major component), were isolated from the same extract.

Identification of Tyrosinase Inhibitors fromGlycyrrhiza uralensis
Planta Medica, 2005Tyrosinase is a key enzyme in the production of melanins. Phytochemical studies of a Glycyrrhiza uralensis extract were performed by measuring the tyrosinase and melanin synthesis inhibitory activity. Glycyrrhisoflavone and glyasperin C were identified as tyrosinase inhibitors for the first time.

Six prenylated phenols from Glycyrrhiza uralensis
Phytochemistry, 1991Abstract A new prenylated flavone, gancaonin Q, and three new prenylated dihydrostilbenes, gancaonins R, S and T, along with two new prenylated dihydrophenanthrenes, gancaonins U and V were isolated from the aerial parts of Glycyrrhiza uralensis . The structures of gancaonins Q–V were elucidated by spectroscopic methods.
