The complete chloroplast genome of Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch. isolated in Korea (Fabaceae) [PDF]

open access: yesKorean Journal of Plant Taxonomy, 2021
The chloroplast genome of Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch was sequenced to investigate intraspecific variations on the chloroplast genome. Its length is 127,689 bp long (34.3% GC ratio) with atypical structure of chloroplast genome, which is congruent to those of Glycyrrhiza genus.

Silicon alleviates salinity stress in licorice (Glycyrrhiza uralensis) by regulating carbon and nitrogen metabolism

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2021
Salt stress is one of the key factors that limits the cultivation of Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch. (G. uralensis) in the northern part of China. In this study, three salt treatments (including 21, 42 and 63 ds/m NaCl/kg dry soil) and four Si (silicon ...

Glycyrrhiza uralensis Nodules: Histological and Ultrastructural Organization and Tubulin Cytoskeleton Dynamics

open access: yesAgronomy, 2021
Chinese liquorice (Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch. ex DC.) is widely used in the food industry and as a medicine. Like other legumes, G. uralensis forms symbiotic nodules. However, the structural organization of G. uralensis nodules is poorly understood. In

RNA-seq reveals that multiple plant hormones are regulated by Bacillus cereus G2 in Glycyrrhiza uralensis subjected to salt stress

open access: yesJournal of Plant Interactions, 2021
Bacillus cereus G2 can alleviate the adverse effect caused by salt in Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch. Transcriptome in the salt (S) treatment and control (CK) groups with or without G2 (CK + B or S + B) were sequenced to identify G2 regulate genes and ...
