Light‐Driven Competitive Selection in a Protein‐Catalyzed Dissipative Peptide Replication
A structurally flexible protein catalyzes replication within a dissipative reaction network driven by UVA‐induced disulfide rearrangements. The protein accelerates templated autocatalytic cycles with replication emerging as the dominant pathway.

Kinematic Evaluation of the GMK Sphere Implant During Gait Activities: A Dynamic Videofluoroscopy Study [PDF]
ABSTRACTJoint stability is a primary concern in total knee joint replacement. The GMK Sphere prosthesis was specifically designed to provide medial compartment anterior–posterior (A–P) stability, while permitting rotational freedom of the joint through a flat lateral tibial surface.

Aims: Medial pivot (MP) total knee arthroplasties (TKAs) were designed to mimic native knee kinematics with their deep medial congruent fitting of the tibia to the femur almost like a ball-on-socket, and a flat lateral part.

Hitting time results for Maker-Breaker games [PDF]
We study Maker-Breaker games played on the edge set of a random graph. Specifically, we consider the random graph process and analyze the first time in a typical random graph process that Maker starts having a winning strategy for his final graph to ...

Dynamical determination of the Kuiper Belt's mass from motions of the inner planets of the Solar System [PDF]
In this paper we dynamically determine the mass of the Kuiper Belt Objects by exploiting the latest observational determinations of the orbital motions of the inner planets of the Solar System.

An optimal aggregation type classifier
We introduce a nonlinear aggregation type classifier for functional data defined on a separable and complete metric space. The new rule is built up from a collection of $M$ arbitrary training classifiers. If the classifiers are consistent, then so is the

On the relation of protein dynamics and exciton relaxation in pigment–protein complexes: An estimation of the spectral density and a theory for the calculation of optical spectra [PDF]
A theory for calculating time– and frequency–domain optical spectra of pigment–protein complexes is presented using a density matrix approach. Non-Markovian effects in the exciton–vibrational coupling are included.
